I am so thankful and honored to have received a generous scholarship from Tales of the Cocktail and the New Orleans Culinary and Cultural Preservation Society. This grant propels me into a thorough study of medicinal herbs and plants as they relate to the cocktail world. I will build a reference of plants, their histories and value for industry-wide education. I will also attempt to bridge the gap of understanding between Eastern and Western herbal medicine and their influences on cocktail culture.
